The classic and exceptional Masa Square staged a memorable fashion show that will remain etched in the minds of many. The much-awaited fashion show gave designers the chance to showcase their work and be appreciated for their talent. The face of the Masa Square Fashion Show, Oratile Kefitlhile, steered the show well as the MC of the evening.

She looked stunning in her Cinderella inspired dress, which she noted was made by a local fashion designer. The models impressed the audience as they took to the ramp. They exuded confidence and grace, that one attendant couldn’t help but ask if the locals were local or international.

They did their best and showed all that they have what it takes to give their international counterparts a run for their money. One of the fashion designers, Tankiso Mathware said that she appreciated being part of the fashion show, saying that it gave them exposure and it was in overall well organised. Nonetheless. One of the fashion designers Kaone Moremong of House of Kay begged to differ saying that the fashion show should improve certain things in the future.

“We did not have a chance to watch the models parading the stage because there was no space for us to sit. I was not really impressed by this because fashion designers mean fashion show therefore next time they should really remedy this. We were backstage with the models and I did not really like it,” she said. However, most of the attendants appreciated the fashion show and dubbed it a night to not forget.

“The fashion show was well planned and everything looked on point including the enormous space provided for the models and just the lay out of the place. It was impressive and I cannot wait for the next one,” one attendant said. At the end there had to be one best designer winner and it was Didah. The other designers who showcased their work included Thabiso Dibeela, Lame Chilume, Delayna Scott, Tlamo Mosinyi, Natasha Selelo, Lesedi Matlapeng and Botho Chalebgwa.
